A well-attended and most convivial Autumn Lunch was held at a popular venue of BRA Members, Ristorante Gallo d’Oro, above Lugano.
We were pleased to see, amongst those present, Father Richard Harrison, the recently-arrived new Chaplain of St Edward the Confessor in Lugano and also, the BRA Treasurer, Peter Payne.
We gathered on the enclosed terrace of the restaurant, with its pleasant views towards Lugano and after an aperitivo, kindly offered by the BRA, enjoyed a thoroughly good lunch and an excellent glass or two of wine.
The occasion ended with the welcome opportunity to order Christmas puddings and mince pies, marmalade and sausage rolls, prepared by Church members, for collection after a forthcoming Advent service.
