Dear BRA Members,
Our AGM will once again be held at the Hotel Bern on Friday 29th May and we are looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible there. Members will be charged CHF 50.–; the apéro and lunch are subsidised by the BRA for members. Guests will be charged CHF 80.–. Our speaker at the luncheon will be Dr. Richard Budgett, who has recently retired from being the Medical Director of the International Olympic Committee.
The Annual General Meeting is a crucial event where you, our members, can review the Association’s progress and finances. The annual report, which details the BRA’s performance over the financial year compared to the previous year, will be presented by our Treasurer, Peter Payne. You will all receive the documentation pertaining to the AGM at the beginning of May either by email or by post.
In June all our Regions will be holding their King’s Birthday Celebrations. Whether in the form of a cocktail party or a meal they are well worth attending, taking the opportunity to raise a glass to HM King Charles III.
Founded in 1946 means that this year the BRA is 80 years old! We will be celebrating at the 80th AGM next year in May. What an achievement to have lasted this long and still be going strong thanks to you our loyal members.
