Time to update the letter on the Website. With such lovely weather today it didn’t take me long to find the appropriate picture depicting the present situation of snow in the mountains and flowers in the valleys. Probably a bit early to get the deckchairs out but it certainly cheers one up after the long winter in lockdown. Perhaps we will have a few cold spells but I do think we are slowly on our way to spring, better weather and happier more positive times. This quote from Charles Dickens sums up March weather very well.
It was one of those March days when the sun shines hot
and the wind blows cold, when it is summer in the light
and winter in the shade.
You will all have been receiving our monthly events calendar. Once again, I regret to say; most events having to be cancelled. Luckily our zoom meetings, in all the regions, have been a success, bringing people together and those taking part having lively discussions. Despite the success of these meetings it will be really lovely to get back to our events and one of the things we have been missing most of all, personal contact!
Our May Bulletin is in production and we have a lot of interesting articles from the regions for you all to enjoy reading.
Looking forward to hearing from you all but most of all meeting up again!
