Dr. Richard Budgett will be our speaker at the AGM lunch

Dr Richard Budgett OBE, retired last year after many years in the post of Medical and Scientific Director of the International Olympic Committee. A graduate of Cambridge, he is an Olympic Gold Medal holder in rowing (coxed fours at the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles), and was Chief Medical Officer for the 2012 Olympic Games in London. He continues to live in Lausanne in retirement … and to keep very busy, notably as Scientific Advisor to the International Paralympic Committee, tasked with developing a research strategy. His leisure pursuits include hiking, rowing, skiing and
cycling.

Luncheon: 13:00 hours
