The Christmas Market in the pretty and historic town of Waldenburg is said by some to be the best in the Basel Region. Parking at this popular event will be very limited in the 4 outer perimeter car parks and no cars are allowed in the town centre on this market day, therefore, it is highly advisable to take the Waldenburgerbahn from Liestal railway station, platform 5.
Basel SBB Platform 3 departing at 12:16 – arriving in Liestal at 12:25
Liestal Platform 5 departing at 12:38 – arriving in Waldenburg Station at 13:01
