The Ehgraben, one of Zürich’s archaeological windows, is the passage of the medieval and later houses where kitchen and latrine rubbish was thrown
(even as late as the 19th century when it was collected as night soil).
This is the last/only one that exists and I intend getting the key from the Stadthaus.
There is no guide but there are explanatory illustrated placards.
A table will be reserved from 14:15 at the Kantorei Restaurant, Neumarkt 2, 8001 Zurich (in the old town).
Members visiting the Ehgraben should be there by 14:30 at the latest.
