In the historic Löwenzorn restaurant in the heart of Basel’s old town, the local people and their guests have been dining since 1874. However, the old walls were first mentioned in documents as early as the 13th century. The façade of the Löwenzorn hardly suggests that this unique, romantic gem is hidden behind these old walls. The restaurant is well known for its fondue and raclette dishes.
