A small cool gallery in the old town shows examples from his many sketch books, Part 1 was Animals and Landscapes. Part 2 (this exhibition) is Clouds and People.
Nägeli’s almost stick like graffitti appeared in the late 70’s overnight on Zürich walls – somewhat like Banksy – it was fun to spot another one!
He had trained in Zürich and Paris and also sprayed in several German towns (a Toten Dance in Cologne, after a chemical spill in Schweizerhalle in Switzerland there was Totentanz der Fische).
In 2020 he gave original drawings to building owners to waive the rent for commercial tenants during the Corona Lockdown.
The same year he was awarded the Art Prize of the City of Zürich.
