Läderach Suisse produces excellent chocolate and this tour is in English, lasts an hour, with chocolate tastings, and shows production from the fruit to the finished product. There is a short film, the factory floor is seen and the firms history is told, the English guide will explain and answer questions.
Läderach emphasized that as there is no lift and involves stairs it is not suitable for wheelchairs, or handicapped visitors.
Following the visit I have booked a table at the delightful little cafe 1 or 2 kms down the road as surprisingly there is nothing available in Bilten.
Pedestrians can count on lifts from drivers.
