Masterpieces of Geneva’s Petit Palais
A highly original collection of Impressionist and Post Impressionist art that has not been shown in Switzerland since 2000 when the Petit Palais closed to the public. This collection of late 19th and early 20th century paintings, including work by Édouard Manet and Auguste Renoir, as well as Gustave Caillebotte, Charles Angrand, Maximilien Luce and Louis Valtat was assembled by Oscar Ghez, a Tunisian-born industrialist. Female painters such as Suzanne Valadon, Marie Bracquemond and Tamara de Lempicka are also honoured.
