The museum, formally known as The Stradivarius Museum, is one of the towns cultural attractions and certainly a must-visit to see musical instruments and craftsmanship. Cremona is the birthplace of the world’s greatest violinmakers including Antonio Stradivari, Nicola Amati and Giuseppe Guarneri del Gesù. The Museum houses rare and priceless violins, violas, cellos and
double basses. Taking about 2 – 3 hours to explore we will then go to a local restaurant nearby for a light lunch. We have arranged a small coach to pick us up at Lugano station to take us to
Cremona but we need to be at least 15 participants for the day to keep costs as low as possible so hopefully many of you will be interested in coming along to enjoy this interesting excursion! Meet at Lugano Station at 08:30 to return at 18:00.
