Phil and Rosella Rolla have just opened their private collection of photographs entitled ‘Was America’ showing 42 pictures of an America during the 50’s and 60’s which no longer exists. Rosella will be on hand to give us a guided tour of this rather interesting and important exhibition. Afterwards we will make our way back to Mendrisio to have coffee and cake before returning home. Beverly will be waiting at the station in Mendrisio should some members arrive by train as the village is situated in the Val di Muggio and PTT buses are few and far between.
