Take the Vevey-Mont Pélerin Funicular and see the wonderful views of the Lake and terraced vineyards of the Lavaux, a UNESCO world heritage site since 2007. The 201 bus outside Vevey Gare takes 5 minutes to the funicular and is the last stop on the route. For those who wish, a gentle downhill stroll through the vineyards down to Vevey is an option after the lunch.
