The Villa Necchi is an architectural gem immersed in a grand garden in the centre of Milano.
Completed in 1935 for the Necchi Campiglio family who were part of the rich and elegant industrial idle class of Milan in the 1930’s it offers to the visitors a wonderful glimpse of life in those far away days.
Then hopefully the weather will be fine enough for a stroll around the magnificent gardens complete with swimming pool and tennis court.
In other words, it would be a pity to miss out on the ‘away day’ Lunch can be decided on the day as some of you might prefer to head straight into town for some shopping or there is a possibility of going to the Hanger Bicocca where there is a wonderful installation of Adselm Kiefer.(born Donaueschingen 1945) of his creation of The Seven Heavenly Palaces.
