The date has been set in June for our last event until the summer holidays.
We will car-pool from Beverly’s home in Tremona and travel to Tradate (about 25 minutes) where we will have lunch at Trattoria Nonna Adelma in Tradate- they are opening the restaurant especially for us as its normally closed lunch times.
The good food prepared by the owners is excellent, genuine Italian fayre at reasonable prices.
After lunch we will make our way across the town to the magnificent Villa Castiglioni Fisogni which houses Signor Fisogni’s private collection of petrol pumps and all the paraphernalia which goes with it.
Even for those not particularly interested in the subject, it is a fascinating insight on a world which has gradually changed over the years.
Amongst all the various pumps, there is even one from Buckingham Palace with a crown on the top!
Signor Fisogni will be on hand to answer any questions you might have.
We look forward to seeing many of you as we are sure you will be amazed at this collection of which Signor Fisogni is most proud of, he even has an award from the Guinness Book of Records.

Lunch – pay individually for what you consume. (Around €15.- to €25.- a head)
