On Saturday, 17 March , my two year old daughter Lillian and I attended  this event.
The idea behind the concert is to introduce small children to live classical music, in an appropriate setting.
There was ample room for the children, who were seated either on their parents’ laps or on cushions next to the orchestra, the latter giving them a chance to really feel the power of the music.
At  60 minutes in length, the concert was not beyond the attention span of all but the very littlest ones, and my daughter is still enthusiastically listening to the excerpts which I filmed on my iPhone.
All in all, concerts such as these are an excellent way for young children to experience classical music, so bravo to Howard and his Orchestra!

It was a fantastic opportunity for all the family. The stories were animated by brilliant performers who really brought out the best of literature and music in harmony. Striking visuals as a backdrop made it a feast for the eyes.
I attended for the first time and will be definitely recommending next year that all our German-speaking children at Children First School attend. And for the German learners aged 4 plus, it is also a MUST SEE.
