Christmas Lunch

Twenty five of us braved the snow to get to the Hotel Forclaz-Touring in Martigny for our Christmas celebrations.
The wine flowed freely and the level of convivial conversation rose accordingly as we all greeted old friends and welcomed new members.

Our BRA Christmas Lunch was delicious. Deborah did us all proud.  She “decked the halls” and supervised the kitchen to produce the best Christmas turkey I for one have ever eaten.  She also brought a suitcase full of Christmas puddings and brandy sauce back from the UK and bravely flambéd the puddings to a tremendous round of applause. They tasted delicious!

After lunch Nando set up the karaoke machine for our Christmas carols sing-along and we all joined in lustily, especially after all that wine and excellent food.
When we could sing no more we gave a round of applause to Deborah for organising such a wonderful party and to the chef for her tour de force with the turkey.

We said our goodbyes and we all went home looking forward to our next BRA Christmas Party.
