Fish, chips and mushy peas, not forgetting the malt vinegar, could you ask for anything more?
We had a delightful lunch.
It happened to be St. Patrick’s day so the pub was festooned with Irish hats and flags ready for their evening celebrations.
Those attending the lunch were either, English, Scottish or Welsh.
Not an Irishman amongst us!
But at least we all shared our love of fish and chips.
