As was to be expected last January, it was a beautifully documented exhibition and with the excellent audio equipment which the Gallery provided we did not have to join the crowded guided tour. Instead we wandered at our own pace, learning about Giacometti’s life and work in Paris, his unique style, and how he became one of the most renowned artists of the last century. We enjoyed tea afterwards in the Gallery foyer and one of the participants said she appreciated that our programme “jogged” her into doing something she would not normally contemplate. Joanna Koch
