It was a beautiful sunny day when seven intrepid English speakers met up to descend into the basement of the Kunst Museum Bern to see the second part of the Gurlitt Legacy collection.
Some outstanding gems delighted us and an excellent audio guide was very informative.
Two good films, one a Swiss German production and the other French, helped fill in the background of how Gurlitt gained possession of the art and how it came to be in Bern.
It was a poignant and at the same time disturbing story.
Two of us had not seen the first part but were so glad they had managed to see the second.
