Our weekend in Lenk was as always most enjoyable.
20 BRA Members met for an apero at the hotel Wildstrubel and the weekend started with a swing.
On Friday evening we enjoyed “Breiti & The Easy Gaters“, a delightful group of young musicians who had the time of their lives up there on the stage.
They were later joined by Gemma Abrié, a lovely singer from Barcelona.
Saturday morning saw many of us in the gardens of Hotel Kreuz enjoying the music of the Jazzeral Jazzband from the Seeland.
Saturday afternoon saw a number of us wandering off to visit the surrounding valleys and some spectacular waterfalls – Simmenfälle and Iffigfall.
On Saturday evening we enjoyed a superb performance by the Dutch Swing College Band.
A band of gentlemen who played swing, jazz, Dixieland with charm and humour.
The Sunday lunchtime concert was just amazing.
Ladyva entertained us with her Boogie Woogie music.
She is a Swiss piano player, singer and a composer and well worth hearing.
Just listening to her piano playing was extraordinary.
A fitting conclusion to a great weekend.
