At the last minute we had to change the date from Tuesday 9 July to Thursday 11 July, nevertheless twelve old, new and prospective members plus two dogs could enjoy a jolly lunch together. Weather a bit too cold to sit outside.
Most of us enjoyed the delicious Fish and Chips, served on a strip of fake newspaper and a wooden board, the fish deliciously cooked in a beer batter, really thick potatoe chips and traditional pea mush. We all enjoyed the different beers, cool drinks and Irish coffee and parted long past the usual lunch break, by foot, bicycle, car or public transport.
The Restaurant enjoys wonderful views over the Almend and Albis Range, overlooking a dog lovers and walkers paradise. We are planning our Christmas lunch here as the Chef can give us a traditional British Christmas spread.
