We had our usual Valaisan blue skies for the annual Anglophone Brisolée.
Although this was not a BRA event, there were many BRA Members present, which was great to catch up and non-members who were new people to meet.
When we arrived Cynthia had decorated the wooden tables with wine leaves, fruits, nuts and orange serviettes, which made it a very colourful autumnal picture.
We were all chatting, drinking and enjoying the nibbles when Cynthia announced that the Chestnuts were ready.
We all took a plate and helped ourselves to the cheese, dried meats, local breads and hot chestnuts, everyone had also brought along cheeses to share.
The Vin Nouveau and Moût were delicious and the chestnuts cooked to perfection.
We then were treated to coffee or tea and some lovely home baked cakes.
Thank you Cynthia for organising such a lovely day out in the Swiss Alps, not only in good company but where we could also appreciate the nature around us. We look forward to next years meet up.
