BRA Members and their guests celebrated at the Grand Hotel Villa Castagnola in the handsome ’Sala del Camino’ due to stormy weather.
It was good to have BRA sponsor Mr. Alberto Allevi from Atlantinvest join us and Mr Peter Steimle, BRA advertiser as well as the BRA Treasurer, Mr. Peter Payne.
It was also a pleasure to have Mr. Matthew Vining from the British Embassy in Bern with us for the celebration.
After introducing himself, he said a few pertinent words about Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s amazing seventy years on the throne before handing over to Canon Michael Bullock who gave the Loyal Toast.
The atmosphere was most enjoyable with everyone tasting the delightful hot and cold nibbles which were served with a selection of fruit juice, wines and prosecco.
A very happy evening indeed!
