What an excellent afternoon you provided for the BRA members lucky enough to make it to Vevey.
I can now tick a real British Christmas Lunch with all of the trimmings on my Christmas to do and to have list.
And it was a real Christmas Lunch!
I am not sure if Deborah has been running a cookery school for all of the local chefs on how to cook a turkey à l’anglais or whether she is just very selective but, whatever, the kitchen certainly provided us with a tasty meal “just like mother made”.
We had all of the silly jokes, paper hats and (unusually) useful trinkets in the beautiful crackers and festively decorated tables.
Most of all, you two and your team produced a truly joyful meeting of like-minded friends and acquaintances who clearly enjoyed the gathering.
