We held our first event of the season, with the tea or drinks get-together on the terrace of the Grand Hotel Villa Castagnola, at their Banana Bar or in the Giardinetto for those needing to keep out of the sun.
What a wonderful afternoon spent on the lovely Banana Bar terrace, Lugano, in the company of 16 members of the Association. Everyone was delighted to see everyone else after gloomy months of lockdown and much laughter could be heard from the road which is quite a way off from where we were sitting !
One member who delighted us with her company came from Zurich.
The sun shone, the drinks flowed, and the chat did not stop – what more could anyone want to kick-start the Ticino & Grisons British residents events for October, November and December ?
