Four young-at-heart tennis players gathered at the splendid Stade Lausanne Tennis Club on 6th March for the first BRA tennis event.
Happily, all were reasonably well matched in terms of ability, and some closely disputed games of doubles ensued. Three sets and two hours later (the precise scores were not recorded for posterity…), the regulation mug-shot was taken and we repaired to the club restaurant for an excellent lunch and to discuss the relative merits of slice and top-spin.
All were agreed that the exercise should be repeated once we’ve had a few months to get our breath back.
