Pablo Picasso (1881-1973) one of the most important artists of all, has shaped the modern art of the 20th century like no other.
With over 30 of his works, the Fondation Beyeler owns one of the largest and most high quality Picasso collections worldwide.
The Young Picasso – Blue and Pink Period transforms temporarily the Beyeler Fondation into a museum dedicated entirely to the works of Pablo Picasso and is well worth visiting. We consider ourselves extremely lucky to have the Beyeler Fondation on our doorstep.
After visiting the exhibition the group visited the nearby coffee house which houses the collection of sculptures from the fantasy world of artist Claire Ochsner.
